There was some fierce price competition when Modern Warfare 2 was launched, which saw the price of this PS3 game go as low as £26 (Sainsburys). But now the release date has gone and the eagerness to have the game has died down a bit, the lowest price is around £32.

As the PS3 game fanatics may know there has been incredible hype about this game, and there has been so many different editions of the game you can buy. There is the normal game, the speciall edition game, GAME has there very own Limited Edition version of the game where they threw in some of there accessories. There was also a HMV limited edition which came with working Night Vision Googles and finally they made an Xbox 360 special limited edition bundle but unfortunately no special PS3 version.
With all the games hype and this many editions of the game available to buy on both PS3 and Xbox it's no suprise that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has smashed sales records for any entertainment product in history. Within the first 5 days of being released this game had sales figures of over $550 million beating any book, DVD, game or any other entertainment product in history!
