All PS3's to support 3D gaming

This year looks like it could be a big year for the 3D industry, as more and more movies are being created in 3D. Sony have announced that they are creating a 3D television and adding 3D capabilities to their PS3 games console. They have said these capabilities will come following 2 software updates. This first will be for 3D gaming and the second will be for 3D movies.

You'll obviously need some 3D glasses to be able to view games and movies in 3D, we don't know exactly what technology this will be though. Whether that will be the old style coloured glasses or the new style active shutter glasses, as Sony have yet to confirm this.
